I've got photos of a couple of original art works that I own on my blog and wondered whether the artists would appreciate their appearance. But yours are of the works on display, so I'm curious about the legal implications of that, copyright, etc. We don't get a lot of art shows here.John Nelsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16750743777622261976noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13886080.post-1138912615231574902006-02-02T15:36:00.000-05:002006-02-02T15:36:00.000-05:00Sounds good. I remember not liking the last show that much because the paint seemed so dry and almost sunk into the canvas, so the images did not resonate as much.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13886080.post-1138905823137982192006-02-02T13:43:00.000-05:002006-02-02T13:43:00.000-05:00Yes PD, they are more thickly painted than her old...Yes PD, they are more thickly painted than her old work, less indebted to Bacon, less graphic, more exploratory, willing to be ambiguous. I liked them. Will be going for another peek this weekend for further contemplation.slothhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04422240307460315454noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13886080.post-1138894038531557722006-02-02T10:27:00.000-05:002006-02-02T10:27:00.000-05:00I'm going again this weekend, io. Sometimes the lighting in galleries is bad news when it comes to photos. Some galleries are cool with the pic taking. Some are not. Sometimes it depends on the artist or the show. I think they'd only kick someone out if you refused to stop taking pictures if they asked them to do so. That, or if you put little plastic army men on the art. They hate that.Heart As Arenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09976463596763794957noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13886080.post-1138667315914748062006-01-30T19:28:00.000-05:002006-01-30T19:28:00.000-05:00Is it possible to take photos of the galleries, op...Is it possible to take photos of the galleries, openings, etc you visit or would you get kicked out for that?
