Empty.

Speaking of empty real estate housing art, I've been curious about this place between Court and Smith since it first went up. It's such an odd space I assumed that it was being built for something specific. Then, when it finally opened it was just a big empty cube that gave great shadow, but there was art leaning up against the walls. I happened to catch it at a good time on Friday and snapped some pics. Then, some dudes walked by with a canoe.

that space is sort of like the empty corner storefront in Soho years ago that always had Donald Judd furniture and sculpture in it but was never open to the public... just viewable through the lg windows from said street.

Don't remember the exact location but think it was somewhere on Spring & Greene or maybe Mercer.

Yeah. I run into that every once in awhile. It's especially good at night.

Wasn't that the best? I had been bummed out about 5 times before because I walked by this place and didn't have my camera. Every'ting happens for a reason.
