Creed Is Good.

This is my favorite Martin Creed production since he released Owada's Nothing back in 1999. I had forgotten about this photo of Small Things I took back in September on W. 25th. That yellow neon. That rust. That size. It was a good day in Chelsea.

Okay, can I just say that I love the Ronnie James Dio album Holy Diver!!! You made me want to dig out my cassette tape and play it right now...at beige. If you happen to have that on cd, please burn it for me. Actually, any and all Dio.

Uh, I am referring to your Dio post.

HaHa. Got it, Peeds. I figured that you weren't referring to Martin Creed's post-Rainbow work. :) I actually DON'T have Holy Diver if you can believe it, but I do have other goodies from him and Rainbow that I'll be sure to include.

I saw him in March at Abrons Art Center and fell in love. My friend Patrick "dragged" us to it and it was super. They played the songs, the videos, he did Q&A, and the best part was the people around me snickering, saying "this is art?" as we watched people throw up on a huge video screen.
I bought the Nothing CD the next day.

Ha! For a minute there I thought you were talking about Dio, Bivs. Too funny. My purchase of Nothing was similarly urgent. I heard it in a gallery and that was THAT.

Oh, I thought it was Dio too. Funny, I did think at the time "isn't his hair too short?"
