No Dali From Pittsburgh.

OK. So. I took a frightening number of pictures when I was at The Warhol in Pittsburgh last week. I'll be posting them, room-by-room, over the next few months. One of the great things about The Warhol is that it's never the same museum twice. Their deep inventory leads to a heavy rotation. We win.

First up: a roomful of Mao!

The Mao Series has always been my favorite.

Y'know, they never really were my fave, but seeing so many good ones in one room was a moved them up a bit. Especially that next to last shot.

This series is not my fave, but I think a room might change my mind. I love his line drawings and piss paintings.

HAA, I hope you feel better soon.

Peeds. Thanks. I'm on my way. Drugs are kickin' in. And the piss paintings? You wanted 'em. You got 'em. The hottest band in the land . . . PISS. I'll post them tonight. Actually it's just one. One big piss painting.

Funny story. The first time I ever went to the Warhol they had an entire room of the piss paintings. There were signs that said, "Please do not touch." Um. OK. Really really really not a problem.

That's funny HAA. Yeah, I wouldn't say I'd be tempted to touch that particular series.
